1995 Hideo Nomo Los Angeles Dodgers Russell Athletic Diamond Collection Home Authentic Rookie Jersey Sz 40 Before there was Ohtani, even before there was Ichiro, there was Nomo. The rookie phenom took the league by storm in 1995. That season he earned NL Rookie of the Year Honors. Nomo led the league in strikeouts and was selected to the All-Star team. All together it was the most impressive Japanese MLB debut ever at the time. He became a star for the LA Dodgers from 1995-1998. Nomo went on to play 13 years in the MLB but he never again reached the heights he did in LA. Shown here is a 1995 run of Hideoapos;s rookie year retail authentic jersey. Made by Russell Athletic in their first year supplying the Dodgers uniforms. The Dodgers had sleeve patches from apos;96-apos;98. Only the apos;95 additions came without patches. Jersey is a size 40 which is an adult medium. Measures 30" top to bottom on the front side and 32" on the backside. 20.5" pit to pit. Made in the USA. This in used but good shape for a nearly 30 year old jersey. There is noticable fraying of the Dodgers logo and red numbers. The only flaws I would point out is the small speck stains shown in the last few pictures. This would make a great addition for any Dodgers fan or 90s collector. The Dodgers are set to begin the most hyped regular season of all time after their free agent spending spree. Get this hot item before it goes quick.
